WILD ABOUT PLANTS!

FIELD GUIDE LAUNCH AT BEST OF BOOKS

We're officially launching our field guide to the wild plants of Antigua and Barbuda on Friday 9th July at Best of Books in Friar's Hill Road at 7pm. We will be presenting copies to schools and colleges, community groups and agricultural organizations. The public are welcome to join us! Three of the authors will be available for book signing.

The Field Guide is based on extensive surveys of Antigua & Barbuda by the authors, Kevel Lindsay, Carolyn Thomas, Melanie Pearson and Chris Pratt. The book includes over 1000 photographs, all taken in Antigua and Barbuda by the authors and some 500 wild plant species are described. The project was funded by USAID and took over 2 years of intensive research, field work and documenting.

ADOPT A PLANT!

Did you know that you help to conserve our environment by adopting and nurturing your very own beautiful native plant? And when it's ready for planting out, we'll make sure you get in the news! Do contact us for more information.

SEND YOUR PHOTOS TO THE PLANT HUNTERS

EAG's plant hunters, sometimes known as our plant nuts (!) are Kevel Lindsay, Melanie Pearson, Carolyn Thomas and Chris Pratt. They love to identify plants that you can't identify! Just send us your photos by email with details of where and when the photo was taken or paste them on our Facebook page – just click on the Facebook icon above. You can also send us photos of birds, butterflies and other animals!
