The end of a fun filled summer is approaching quickly and there are only a few more exciting parties to experience. The Carnival season rang out with calypso and soca, so get ready for one last big reggae fete at the best night spot in Antigua. English Harbour's Abracadabra and the Environmental Awareness Group (EAG) will be bringing you The Green Fete – A Roots Reggae Party on Friday August 27th. With DJs like Quixx and Kenny Nibbs you know the Reggae theme will be represented to the max.

Abracadabra's got it all with a unique two-sectioned club. DJ Quixx will hold it down in the “Disco Bar” out front, spinning and keeping the dance floor thumping to the best reggae dance tracks found anywhere. In the back, experience the "Chill Out" section with Kenny Nibbs and his conscious collection of sounds. The Green Fete will be a peaceful dance with the best conscious reggae hits of all time.

But there's more to the Green Fete - it has an ecological twist as well. All funds raised by ticket sales will go towards helping the EAG conserve our environment. On the night of the Fete, look out for displays about our island’s environment and the work that we are doing.

Come ready to compete! There will be prizes for the winners of the “best green" and "best eco-friendly outfits”, so make sure you keep checking back here for updates. Remember that all ticket sales go towards this non-profit environmental organization, so even if you can’t make it, your contribution will go a long way. Purchase your tickets now from the EAG office (located in the Museum on Long Street), Caribbean Real Estate (Jolly Harbour), Best of Books (Royal Palm branch only), various Board members, and Lia Nicholson.
