Raising awareness & promoting sustainable use of natural resources

10/10/10 Climate Solutions Day
The international organization 350.org is promoting 10/10/10 a “Global Work Party” to encourage local action that combats Climate Change.
Read about what 350 means, click here. In recognition of this, and to get Antigua & Babruda into action, the EAG will be hosting a Farmer's Market at the Dredger's Club Grounds (the open space next to the botanical gardens) on the day of action.
The venue will encourage people to "eat local" -- this will greatly reduce our carbon emissions while also supporting local agriculturalists. In addition to a variety of produce, there will be displays on renewable energy, recycling, and environmental projects. A car-free zone will promote bicycle riding, and there will be fun activities for children.
We need your help! Without funding for the event, we are relying heavily on generosity for the cause.
Can you help us find TENTS, TABLES, and CHAIRS?
